When developing a data acquisition system for an experiment it is hard to avoid having to design and fabricate custom electronics. This is particularly true with trigger electronics which is very closely coupled to the physics being studied. With this in mind the data acquisition support group has two members who are experts in the design and fabrication of electronics for nuclear physics experiments. They work closely with laboratory users and members of fast electronics support group.
