Welcome to CODA.

CODA is a set of hardware recommendations and software packages from which a data acquisition system can be constructed. CODA was designed for the readout of nuclear physics experiments and follows an event driven model targeted at readout of nuclear physics detectors. This does not mean that CODA cannot be used in other environments but it is best suited to nuclear physics applications.

Data acquisition is of significant importance to Jefferson lab and the data acquisition group exists to provide support for high speed data acquisition for the laboratory and it's user community. The CODA project is the main fruit of our commitment to providing the best available data acquisition support.

We are available as a support resource to laboratory staff and users. We are also free to collaborate with other groups where mutual benefit can be identified. Please feel free to contact us at coda@jlab.org Information about individual group members can be found on the Members Page.
